Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 13, 2026
Sunshine Aesthetics Med Spa (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you interact with our website, services, and SMS communications.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. We collect personal information you provide directly to us, including: name, email address, phone number (including mobile numbers), appointment details and preferences, payment information (when applicable), and any other information you choose to share with us through forms, email, SMS, or in person.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our third-party service providers automatically collect certain information using cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies. This may include: your IP address, device type and identifiers, browser type and language, operating system, referring/exit pages, pages viewed and links clicked, approximate geographic location (derived from IP), date and time of your visit, and aggregate behavioral data. See Section 4 (“Cookies, Tracking Technologies & Online Advertising”) for details and your choices.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your personal information is used for purposes such as: scheduling and confirming appointments, sending SMS or email appointment reminders, confirmations, and follow-ups, providing customer support and responding to inquiries, sending occasional marketing communications (only if you have opted in), measuring the performance of our website and advertising, and improving our services and customer experience.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information for monetary consideration. Information may be shared as follows:
- Service providers who help us operate our website, booking platform, payment processing, email, and SMS messaging services — only as necessary to perform their services and under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Analytics and advertising partners who help us understand how visitors use our site and measure the performance of our marketing. This includes Google (Google Analytics 4) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (operator of Facebook and Instagram, via the Meta Pixel). These partners may receive information such as your IP address, device identifiers, pages viewed, and actions taken on our site, and may use that information consistent with their own privacy policies. See Section 4 below.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sunshine Aesthetics Med Spa, our patients, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
SMS data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See Section 5.
Under certain state privacy laws, sharing personal information with cross-context behavioral advertising partners (such as Meta Pixel) may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information even though no money changes hands. See Section 8 (“State Privacy Rights”) for your right to opt out.
4. Cookies, Tracking Technologies & Online Advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons, JavaScript tags, and pixels) to operate the site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and measure the performance of our advertising. We use both first-party and third-party technologies.
Strictly necessary. Some technologies are required for the site to function (for example, remembering your cookie-consent choice). These are always on.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-90M3W8J0SZ), a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information about your device and browsing behavior. Information is processed by Google and may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States and other countries. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
Advertising — Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel). We use the Meta Pixel (Pixel ID 1003827945410249), a service provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, understand visitor actions on our website (such as page views and interest in our membership program), and build audiences for future Meta advertising campaigns. The Meta Pixel may set cookies (including the _fbp cookie) and transmit information to Meta, including your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and actions you take on our site. Meta may match this information to its own records of users on Facebook and Instagram and use it for ad targeting, ad measurement, and analytics in accordance with Meta’s Privacy Policy and its Business Tools Terms. You can manage your Meta ad preferences and opt out of Meta’s use of off-Facebook activity for ad personalization in your Facebook Ad Preferences and Meta Accounts Center.
Domain verification. Our pages include a Facebook domain-verification meta tag, which allows Meta to confirm that we control this domain. The tag itself does not track you.
Your choices for cookies and tracking.
- Cookie banner. When you first visit our site, a banner asks whether you accept the use of analytics and advertising cookies. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel will not load unless you click “Accept.” If you click “Decline,” only strictly necessary technologies are used.
- Change your mind later. You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking the button below, which will clear your stored preference and re-display the cookie banner:
- Browser controls. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may affect site functionality.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request for the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under applicable state privacy laws.
- Industry opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies via the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative.
5. SMS Consent and Messaging
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Sunshine Aesthetics Med Spa related to your appointments, reminders, or other service-related updates. SMS consent is not shared with third parties. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information through secure systems and procedures. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. You may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf, subject to verification.
Notice of financial incentive. We do not offer financial incentives or price/service differences in exchange for personal information.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
