Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Aerolase laser treatments.

Laser treatments use targeted light energy to improve the skin. They help with acne, redness, pigmentation, fine lines, sun damage, and overall skin rejuvenation.
Avoid for 5–7 days before:
  • Retinol or vitamin A products
  • Exfoliating acids or scrubs
  • Direct sun exposure or tanning
  • Self-tanner on the treatment area
Arrive with clean skin and no irritation if possible.
Most clients describe a warm snapping or light heat sensation. The Aerolase Neo Elite’s 650-microsecond technology makes it among the more comfortable laser experiences our clients report — numbing cream is typically not required.
You may have mild redness, warmth, and slight swelling — similar to a mild sunburn. Some treatments may temporarily darken pigmentation before it naturally flakes off.
For 24–72 hours after:
  • Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF daily
  • No heat (workouts, saunas, hot showers)
  • Avoid retinol, exfoliants, and active ingredients
  • Do not pick or scratch the skin
Protecting your skin post-treatment is key.
Although results are not guaranteed, many see improvement within a few days, with the skin continuing to improve over 4–6 weeks as collagen rebuilds. For concerns like pigmentation, acne, and collagen stimulation, a series of treatments is recommended.
